The Dying Forest
This doll is very close to my heart because it represents the tragic fact that our forests are disappearing all around the world. I’m not here to preach or lecture you, but to illustrate my heartbreak. Whether you view it on a global scale – reading about the thousands of square kilometers cleared of the Amazon rainforest – or feel it locally, like I did when I stepped into the cut-down forest near my grandma’s house last year, it’s all devastating. I’m so grateful for people and organizations that are trying to save at least a small piece of the forest and let it run its full course of aging, growing, decaying, and safeguarding various ecosystems within it.

M A I N T E N A N C E
Due to the unique nature of these art dolls, they are not suitable for children. They are best enjoyed as interior decor or collectible pieces - feel free to change their poses, costumes, and wigs, take photos, and have fun with them!
Although porcelain is a fairly sturdy material, the dolls should still be handled with care. Protect delicate parts such as the fingers and neck, and always use a stand for support when displaying your doll in a standing position.
You can clean your doll with regular gentle cleaning supplies and a slightly damp cloth. Don’t worry about the paint - it is kiln-fired and fully fused with the porcelain.
Keep your doll away from water, high humidity, and direct sunlight, as these conditions may affect the internal spring mechanism, leather lining, or costume.
